Dasung has achieved the unthinkable, they actually did it. Last year when they released their 40hz monitors I commented that we will likely see 60 hz monitors from them in 2025 or early 2026. I was sure of that. But even I didn’t think it’d happen this soon. I mean what the company is doing is simply crazy and hard to believe. Dasung has actually given us LCD speed e-ink monitors. And to achieve this milestone on only the first month of 2025 is unbelievable.
The Paperlike 103 is a 10.3″ eink monitor with 227 PPI with a resolution of 1872 x 1404 px which is the same as that of the Remarkable 2, Supernote A5X and Boox Note Air 3. It has capacitive touch that supports pinch-to-zoom functionality and comes in an aspect ratio of 4:3. It has dual-tone warm and cold frontlight for ease of use in daytime or at night.

It can be connected to your PC, tablet or phone via the USB-C port. It is priced at 1999 yuan (around 275$) and is only available in China for now through the JingDong website. It will come to their official international store in the coming weeks.
