Hannspree releases Hannsnote Mini – Specs & details

Hannspree recently released a RLCD color tablet called the Hannsnote 2 and now they’ve launched a smaller version of it called the Hannsnote mini.

It is 7.8” but uses the same display as its older sibling which goes by the name of eVPD (TN, reflective) according to their official website. It can display 16.7 million colors, but its PPI is only 164 (compared to 200ppi in the Hannsnote 2) and has no front light. It refreshes at a speed of 60hz and runs on Android 14.

It has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage and is powered by a 3000mAh battery. The mini has all the components you’d expect in a tablet like Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, USB-C and even a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front one. It uses the same chipset as the 2 – a MediaTek MT 8781. It’s dimensions are 134.1 x 185.1 x 6.6mm (WxDxH) and weighs 300 grams.

…
For now it is only available in China and will come to Europe soon. Price is unknown for now but in retrospect, the Hannsnote 2 is around $350 so this one will probably be around $250.
