Bigme Hibreak Color was released a few months ago (31 May 2024) and while it was exciting to have a new color eink phone after 3 years it was also a bit underwhelming when the specs came out. It is very similar to the 2020 Hisense A5 pro CC, with the screen being the exact same size and most probably the same version too. Hisense listed the Color PPI as 100 while Bigme was at 91 but Hisense could’ve been just rounding up the numbers. Goodereader also mentioned in their review video that the phone is using the latest Kaleido 3 but I think that’s a mistake. My guess is it’s Kaleido 1- the same as that of the Hisense A5 pro CC.
Update: I contacted Bigme and they told me it’s Kaleido 2.
