Bigme HiBreak B/W – Specs, Price, Where to Buy

Bigme has released the first monochrome Android e-ink phone since 2022 called the HiBreak. Check out its specs below-

The specs of these phones by Bigme are pretty darn good for their price. $219 for Android 11 with Google Play, 6GB of Ram and 128gb of internal storage on an eink phone? That sounds too good to be true but it is real and you can get it from their official store. But I am honestly excited for these releases from Bigme simply because nobody else is doing it. Only Hisense did it; and they left the market 2 years ago. There are many e-ink companies like Onyx Boox, PocketBook, Dasung but none of them has released an e-ink phone until now. And that’s why I am all praise for Bigme because the e-ink community badly needs this. Just look at the minimal phone, that sold out its crowdfunding campaign within a month even though it had a lot of red flags.

The only disappointment from this phone is the PPI which 275, but it’s not a deal-breaker. Time will tell how well these phones perform and if you can use them as your primary smartphones. But it’s a start and a damn good one at that. Hopefully, Bigme will develop these phones like they do their tablets and eReaders and release new ones yearly or every 18 months or so. And maybe it’ll give their competitors a little push to do the same.
