Color, color, color!!! It seems like it’s all that’s happening in the e-ink world these days, and we love it. A few weeks ago, PocketBook announced the Era Color; and then last week, info about two new color e-readers from Kobo – the Clara and Libra were leaked.
Now Pocketbook has launched the Inkpad EO – a 10.3″ e-ink color e-reader. It will be using the latest Kaleido 3 display which means the black and white will have 300 PPI while the color is 150. It has a Wacom layer to support note-taking and sketching.
It will have 4GB of Ram and 64GB of internal storage along with a micro SD slot for further storage expansion. It is powered by an octa-core processor and a 4000mAh battery. It will run on Android 11, so you can install and use all your favorite apps on it. And yes, it will have Google Play.
Other features include support for all the major e-book formats, stereo speakers, 4 microphones, WiFi, Bluetooth and even a camera which can come in handy when scanning documents. It will weigh around 470g. The price and release date is yet to be announced.
