TCL has unveiled generation 3 of their NXTPaper display at the CES 2024. TCL claims that they’ve been able to filter out 61% of the blue light. It boosts the brightness 10% more than the last gen. The display uses Circularly Polarized Light (CPL) screens that simulate the “emission – reflection – refraction” path of natural light.
“The latest NXTPAPER 3.0 is further optimized for human eyes, and features a circularly polarized light (CPL) screen. This screen mimics natural light and incorporates Smart Color Harmony technology and a night-friendly display, greatly enhancing user comfort. With improvements in brightness, DC dimming technology, and the unique NXTPAPER Aesthetics, the device not only offers a flicker-free experience but also exemplifies TCL’s dedication to developing technology that prioritizes the user’s needs and comfort” -Stefan Strait (Chief Marketing Officer of TCL Mobile
