Boox just announced four new devices that are launched in China and will come to international markets soon- the Leaf 5 & 5C, Tab 13C and the Mira Pro Color.
Disclosure: This news has only been released in Chinese so we don’t have the full information of these e-ink devices yet. They will be released in China only for now (specifically on 15 April 2025) and will come to the international markets later on.
Leaf 5 and 5C
The Leafs are 7″ and will cost around 220 – 280$. The Leaf 5C is very similar in specs to last year’s Go color 7 except this one has a pen that you can use for writing and sketching.
Tab 13 Color
The Tab 13 Color will be Boox’s first 13.3 inch e- ink color tablet. It uses the latest Kaleido 3 display and will have 300 PPI for black and white and 150 for color.
This is quite a leap since all 13inch devices before this peaked at 207 PPI. The T13C will cost 5999 yuan which is around $820.
Mira Pro Color
The Mira Pro Color is a 25.3 inch e-ink color monitor and will also use Kaleido 3. It’ll be interesting to see how it compares to the Revo monitors from Dasung. It will cost 9499 yuan which comes to around 1300$.
